
Jim Senopole, 1940-2025
Jim attended Ford City High School. He began his career with Beneficial and later worked for Baltimore Life, where he dedicated 30 years of service. He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. Jim was also a lifetime member of the Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department. An active member of the Butler Umpires Association, Jim officiated numerous sports, including basketball, baseball, and football. He was also an avid bowler and participated in several local bowling leagues throughout the years.
 
Ken Wehr, 1941-2025
Kenneth graduated from Evans City High School in 1959. He then went on to work for ARMCO Steel as an Electrician, until retiring on June 29, 1998, after 40 years of service. Kenneth was also a longtime member of Meridian Presbyterian Church, where he was also a member of the Choir. In addition, Kenneth was also a member of the Butler Volunteer Fire District #3, the Meridian Vets Club, as well as being a past member of the Butler County EMS Council. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, pistol shooting, and country western dancing with his wife, Cheryll. He was truly a jack of all trades that was always willing to help his friends and family.

Greg Haughey, 1941-2024
Greg Joined Meridian VFC in 1967, progressing up through the ranks over sixteen years from Engineer to Chief, where he served as Fire Chief from 1990 - 1991. Greg was very active in the Fire Service throughout his tenure, and was instrumental in Fire Service Education, teaching many classes from EMT, Incident Command, and Hazardous Materials to name a few. He was involved in the County Fire Chief's Association, Butler Township Zoning Hearing Board, Butler Township Planning Commission, Butler County Hazardous Materials Team, and many other county committees.

Fred Summerville, 1943-2023
Fred was a long-time member of South Butler VFD and remained active, helping with annual fish dinners, until the building was closed. His wife, Kathy, was a ladies auxiliary member and all of his family had involvement at the station. Fred was very active in his community, and was a member of the VFW Post 249, American Legion Post 778, USS Compton Association, the Butler County Law Enforcement Officers Association, Summit Township Sportsman Club, Kellettville Sportsman Club, Happy Hunters, Larry George/Monroe Hotel Golf League and Smart TD Alumni.
